I have been looking forward to Gabi & Zach’s wedding for a looong time! When they finally made it official and decided to get married, Gabi and I met up and she shared her vision with me. She raved about this barn of a family friend’s estate they were hoping to use, the bridal party they already had picked out, and the romantic-country feel she wanted their wedding day to have. Well let me tell you – that’s exactly what she made happen! Between the country music playing in the barn during most of the reception (which I couldn’t help but sing along to) and the freshly squeezed orange crushes (ahhh, I had a to have a few of those – minus the vodka for baby), their day was casual, fun, and full of joy! There were so many details throughout the day that were fun and full of them! My favorite was the truck that they have been working on for months! Zach used it to escort them from the ceremony and their sendoff that night which felt like a movie scene! Their day was one of the most romantic spring estate weddings that Howard County, Maryland has ever seen!

I would have to say my favorite part of the day was the anniversary dance they used to honor Zach’s grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary!! (not a typo, folks!) After they were the last ones on the dance floor, everyone started cheering and there wasn’t a dry eye there! They were asked if they had any advice for the newlyweds and aside from never going to bed angry they spoke to Gabi & Zach about the importance of making a vow, keeping it, and making it your everything (again, tears..). Aside from Zach & Gabi getting emotional from their own ceremony hours before, I think everyone would agree that this was the sweetest moment of the evening and I felt so honored just to be there at their wedding reception to witness it.

Gabi & Zach are not only a dream couple to work with, their love is a dream to see. They bicker, laugh a lot, and love each other so much. The way Zach looks at Gabi just says it all. I know these two have many years ahead of them and I can’t wait to see where life takes them as our friendship grows as well! Enjoy a few highlights from my favorite wedding of the year!
