When did you find out?
We found out last Monday at our 20 week ultrasound that we were having a BOY! A son, a namesake, and basically our whole entire world! Brandon and I are overjoyed! Abraham will be the EIGHTH generation to live on my family estate and is already very loved!
Did you know it was going to be a boy?
I knew from the start, but we were both hoping for a girl since his side of the family is full of boys! Either way healthy=happy and hopefully someday he will have a sister!
Why Abraham Baylor?
I have always been in love with the name Abraham. I’ve always hoped to have a “little Abe”. The name is strong, very American, and more importantly – Biblical. Baylor is Brandon’s grandfather’s middle name; Abraham will share his initials along with his great-great grandfathers initials, ABF. Family is very important to Brandon and I, and his grandfather is very excited that we will be carrying on the Fitzwater name.
I’m feeling much better this trimester and Abe is already a very strong boy! He loves stretching his muscles every night at 11:30 (on the dot) and I just love feeling him wiggle inside my belly all day. We will be going to set up our registry this upcoming week and we’ve been chatting about some different ideas for the nursery. We’re keeping it neutral incase baby #2 ends up being a girl, but there will be some cute boy touches of course! The Aunts on both sides are hosting a joint family baby shower on August 5th. Things are starting to feel more and more real! They days are flying by and we are trying to get as much done as possible!
